Claim Handler – Full time – Permanent

Our claim handlers are the voice of our business when it comes to dealing with our customers on a daily basis and are the heartbeat of everything we do.

 

This is a challenging and at times demanding role. You will be, handling enquiries on the phone and email, be accountable for your own assigned claims and deal with multiple competing priorities. You’ll be part of one of our client focussed claim handling teams, working together and supporting each other to deliver our services to meet our performance standards.

 

We never know when a fire might start or when there may be a burst pipe. Therefore our team are on hand, and additionally compensated for providing an out of hours service (on a rota’d basis) to assist with any household property claim emergency where alternative accommodation is needed – 24/7.

 

Hours of work:
Full Time, 40 hours per week, worked on a rota basis, to cover our opening hours 8.30am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays (once a month).

 

The requirements
We are looking for people who are highly empathetic, resilient and well organised; that thrive working in an extremely fast paced and exciting environment and take pride in providing excellent customer service.

 

Ideally you will have some form of customer service experience but passion and a can-do attitude are equally as important. You will be IT literate and a great communicator, with the ability to forge strong relationships. You will have great attention to detail and are able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
